The PROFESSIONAL guideline to maintaining your protected vehicle
Straight forward and easy to understand
Maintaining your vehicle after we protect it doesn’t have to be complicated. This is your master guideline that goes over absolutely everything you need to know when it comes to keeping your vehicle looking brand new for many years to come.
Why does this matter?
Maintaining your vehicle’s ceramic coating and paint protection film (PPF) is the most important part of the aftercare process once you receive protection services from us. While yes, these products are meant to protect your vehicle and provide a durable surface, we still need to take care of the ceramic coatings and paint protection film (PPF). Think of it like the mechanical side of your car. A brand new Toyota is meant to be reliable and shouldn’t have issues for a long time, but if you don’t change the oil or maintain the fluids/parts, it will break down faster over time and quickly become unreliable.
Durable ≠ Invincible
This is the main theme for this guide.
Proper maintenance is necessary to keep your vehicle’s ceramic coating and paint protection film (PPF) looking and acting brand new for its full expected lifespan. Not following these steps will cause premature failure and may void warranties.
Now does this mean that if you go a little long without maintaining your vehicle, it will cause all sorts of issues? No, not at all. If you are a little long (4-6 weeks) between maintenance washes, it isn’t the end of the world. We just don’t want to make this a habit.
Your vehicle has been professionally protected. Following the maintenance steps below ensures maximum performance, appearance, and warranty coverage.

our Wash guide
No need to look anywhere else, just follow these simple steps that will set you up for success.
step 1: The right Chemicals and Tools
When it comes to maintaining your vehicle, this is the first step to set you up for success that way you don’t need to guess what works and what doesn’t. We’ve already figured that out for you.
If you want to just buy the basics in one place without spending time adding different things to your cart, just buy this Feynlab Maintenance Kit and choose the “Maintenance Kit with Pure Wash” option. We also sometimes stock this same kit in our shop. This is going to cover your basics and we have tested every chemical and product in this kit. We know it works and works well. This doesn’t include any wheel and tire specific cleaning chemicals or tools.
We also have an Amazon Affiliate Link as well that has additional tools and chemicals (such as wheel cleaning specific products) that we have grown to like over the years that make the process even easier if you are inclined to invest some more money into your process.
Step 2: Washing the Right Way
Now that we have all of the correct chemicals and tools, we need to set up your correct environment to ensure a smooth process.
We have multiple variables to look out for when we wash a vehicle.
